Dr. Timothy Tsang is a Canadian optometrist, educator, clinical researcher, and co-founder of Foresee Eyecare in Vaughan, Ontario. He provides comprehensive eye exams and advanced optometric care to patients from Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Thornhill, Maple, the Greater Toronto Area, and beyond.

Get to Know Dr. Timothy Tsang
Dr. Tsang graduated from Crescent School before earning his degree in Human Biology with Specialization from the University of Toronto. He later graduated cum laude from the Illinois College of Optometry and completed a residency in Primary Care and Ocular Disease at the Illinois Eye Institute.
Dr. Tsang served as an assistant professor and attending optometrist at the Illinois College of Optometry, working across its primary care, advanced care, and emergency eye care clinics. During his first year of teaching, he was named Clinical Educator of the Year for 2007–2008.
Committed to clinical education and mentorship, Dr. Tsang has taught optometry students through the University of Waterloo and the Illinois College of Optometry. He continues to train final-year optometry interns at Foresee Eyecare and serves on the Board of Trustees of the Illinois College of Optometry.
His academic work has also included serving as an adjunct clinical lecturer, clinical examiner, research contributor, conference presenter, journal reviewer, and Key Opinion Leader (KOL). His research and professional interests include myopia management, multifocal contact lenses, dry eye disease, glaucoma care, retinal imaging, and emerging diagnostic technologies.
Dr. Tsang has contributed to professional leadership through the Ontario Association of Optometrists, the College of Optometrists of Ontario, and other organizations in Canada and the United States.

Alongside his patient care at Foresee Eyecare, Dr. Tsang contributes to the advancement of optometry through clinical education, professional speaking, and industry consulting. His selected roles include:
