Get to Know Dr. Au
Dr. Au graduated with distinction from the University of Waterloo before completing a residency in Binocular Vision and Pediatrics in Manitoba, where she gained specialized experience in eye-tracking assessment, visual rehabilitation, and the visual complications that can follow a concussion or traumatic brain injury (TBI). She also completed clinical externships in Alberta with a focus on ocular disease.
That training shapes her practice today: Dr. Au has particular expertise in concussion and TBI vision therapy, diagnosing and treating the visual symptoms — blurred or double vision, light sensitivity, difficulty concentrating — that often follow a head injury. She also diagnoses and treats strabismus, oculomotor dysfunction, and visual processing challenges in patients of all ages. At Foresee Eyecare, she designs individualized vision therapy programs and concussion/TBI rehabilitation plans, using lenses, tints, and rehabilitation techniques tailored to each patient’s needs.
Dr. Au is fluent in English and Cantonese.
