A Welcome Alternative to Glasses
Contact lenses can be a great alternative to glasses, especially if spectacles don’t fit well with your lifestyle. You can wear contacts for special occasions, during intense activities, or even every day. No matter what your lifestyle, prescription, or eye health requirements are, there are plenty of options out there.
At Foresee Eyecare, we can recommend lens options that work with your visual needs. With our technology, we can customize contacts for your eye shape and comfort.
Schedule your contact lens exam today.

Customizing Your Contact Lenses
To determine that your cornea (the front surface of the eye) is healthy, assess your prescription, and fit your contact lenses, you will undergo a contact lens exam.
Your optometrist will measure and assess the following:
Contact Lenses for Your Unique Eyes
After your contact lens exam, your doctor can determine the type of contact lenses you need. For instance, you may be nearsighted, farsighted, or have astigmatism.
Our doctors are certified and trained in fitting all types of contact lenses for regular use and ocular diseases, including keratoconus, corneal degeneration, and irregular corneas.
At Foresee Eyecare, we offer:
- Daily wear contact lenses
- Contacts for dry eyes
- Coloured contact lenses
- Multifocal contact lenses
- Toric contacts for astigmatism
- Gas permeable contact lenses
- Scleral lenses
- Orthokeratology (overnight corrective refractive technology)

You Can Conveniently Order Your Contacts Online
Once you have your prescription, you’re welcome to reorder your contacts through us online.
We are pleased to offer specialty contact lenses, as well. Talk to your eye doctor to discuss your ideal fit and function.
Caring for Contacts
Contact lenses sit directly on the cornea, so you’ll need to follow your optometrist’s instructions carefully to preserve your eye health. Serious infections can be associated with contact lens wear, so hygiene is of the utmost importance.
You can prevent infections by doing the following:
- Removing your lenses before you go to sleep
- Booking annual, comprehensive eye exams to check that your eyes are still tolerating your contacts well
- Avoiding showers, hot tubs, and swimming while wearing contact lenses
- Replacing and caring for your lenses by following your optometrist’s instructions
- Only cleaning your contacts with contact lens solution—never tap water
- Washing your hands with soap and water and drying them thoroughly before inserting or removing contact lenses
Exams Are Essential
If you’re a regular contact lens wearer, it’s important to come for annual eye exams to confirm your eyes tolerate the lenses well. But, if you experience any discomfort while wearing your contacts, don’t wait until your exam time comes up on the calendar.
Many people who experience discomfort give up on wearing lenses without looking for an alternative. Dry eye is a common reason for people to go back to glasses. But, we can help you find another style of lens or a dry eye treatment to keep you in contact lenses.
Regular exams are also important for keeping your prescription up-to-date and your vision sharp. If you have a current prescription and just need a refill, you can order your contact lenses online or come in and see us!
