Dr. Shani Avraham provides thorough, personalized care for patients of all ages. Her expertise includes dry eye management, myopia control, and ocular disease. She combines evidence-based treatment with patient education to support long-term eye health.
Dr. Avraham graduated cum laude from the University of Waterloo’s Doctor of Optometry program after earning an Honours Bachelor of Science with distinction from York University. She gained clinical experience diagnosing and managing glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and other ocular diseases during her externship and research work.
As a clinical researcher at the University of Waterloo’s Centre for Ocular Research and Education, Dr. Avraham has contributed to studies on contact lenses, dry eye disease, myopia management, and ocular rosacea.
Dr. Avraham is also fluent in English and Hebrew.
